Wash your hands before unwrapping the filter. 1 Flush filter with cold water for 15 seconds. 2 Insert filter into reservoir. Press firmly. 3 Add cold tap water. 4 Replace filter every 40 gallons or two months. It is normal for carbon dust to appear in your first 3 pitchers.
